Each Monday during the month of November, Wing & Fish on Main St. in Shallotte, hosted a fundraiser for the Rivers Edge Veterans Association. W&F donated 10% of their earnings from each Monday to REVA. REVA members handed out flyers to patrons of the restaurant as they entered. The flyers were presented to their server to secure the donation. At the end of the month REVA received a donation from W&F for $1,137.96.
