On Wednesday, July 4 the Men’s Association of the Rivers Edge Golf Club conducted a Red, White and Blue Captain’s Choice Golf Tournament. Forty members and residents of Rivers Edge participated in the tournament. Each team of four players rotated playing from the red, white and blue tees. The winning team with a score of 59 was Jim Pike, Bob Grundy, Tom Bednarczyk, and Gerry Moore. Runner up was the team of Vince Buszko, Roger Bense, Dwight Kernodle and Peter Biddle with a score of 60. Coming in third also with a score of 60 was the team of Jeff Keck, Kurt Reynolds, Kevin Reynolds and Jon Reynolds.
