On October 21, 2021, REVA members delivered Comfort Kit items donated by Rivers Edge residents to veteran patients at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), Fayetteville. REVA delivered 10 boxes of items weighing over 237 lbs. with a retail value of more than $1,200. Donations included personal hygiene and clothing items for the hospitalized veterans. Also donated were arts and craft items for the medical center’s Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Recovery Program.
Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 restrictions, REVA members were not permitted to play bingo or socialize with the veterans.
