The Rivers Edge POA Board of Directors kicked off its Board and Committee Leadership Program at an orientation meeting on September 15. The program is a new initiative of the Board to introduce interested association members to the various leadership roles within the community as Board members, committee chairs and committee members. The Town Hall style meeting was held at River Hall and also by video conference. Each Board member and six (6) committee chairs gave brief overviews of their roles and responsibilities followed by a Q&A session with the attendees. The goal of the program is to encourage, train and mentor individuals. Association members interested in a leadership role are encouraged to contact a Board member or committee chair to participate in the training program.
