On Saturday, November 17 the Rivers Edge Golf Club held a Stableford Team Competition. Sixty four (16 teams) RE residents participated in the event. In the men’s division the Reckless Drivers with Vince Buszko, Peter Komarnycky, Tom Angotti and John Russell claimed first place honors with 35 points. With 32 points and winning second place on a matching of cards were the Greenies with Jonathan Forde, Jack Barrett, Dave Arnold and Jim Pike. Finishing in third, also with 32 points were the Village Stompers with Larry Shapiro, Mike Bell, Kenn Nelson and John Olson. In the ladies division the Fireballs with Colleen Wenthen, Shirley Arnold, Sandy Campbell and Linda Lynes scored 30 points to take first place. The Hotshots with Kathy Carmody, Maralee Martin, Roe De Rose and Heidi DeMuro took second place with 27 points. In third with 22 points were the Ladies on the Edge. Team members were BJ Hale, Jean Arnold, Jane Lea and Paige Coker.
