On Wednesday, July 14 Charlie Coker shot his age at Rivers Edge Golf Club. This is the first time Charlie has accomplished this feat. Charlie, who started playing golf as a 25 year old Marine stationed at Camp Lejuene has been playing golf for 55 years. Charlie and his wife Page are now full time residents of Rivers Edge. During this round he shot 41 – 39 for an 80. His playing partners were George Werner, Roger Bense and Dan Lynes.
