2021 American Picnic

After months of isolation, the residents of Rivers Edge were ready to gather and party.  On June 13, 85 residents attended the poolside and indoor American Picnic hosted by the social committee.   Stormy weather threatened but held off enabling outdoor seating.  River Hall was decked out in patriotic theme and attendees enjoyed sandwiches, sides, ice cream sandwiches and cookies while listening to an American Summer playlist.  Corn hole and Jenga competitions went on until way after sunset.  Mostly folks were just glad to be together after being under social distancing mandates for over a year.  Residents who arrived in Rivers Edge within the last 18 months were recognized and welcomed by all.
